SedCARE Systems
SedCARE systems can be combined to provide a site wide solution for Aged Care sites.

SEDCO systems are equally suited for both high care facilities and independent living and can be used individually or incorporated into one reporting system. This flexibility allows Age Care facilities to specify the ideal SedCARE system for their organisation and to update and expand that system over time.
Because SEDCO systems are modular, our clients can also choose to purchase components separately. In a staged roll out, the most critical components can be upgraded first and then others as required.
SEDCO can upgrade our legacy systems such as the 3000, 6000 and other hard wired communication systems.

Control Centre
Mnagement and information hub of the SedCARE system. It provides real time call logging, call history, detailed reporting and alarm outputs to various protocols (RF paging, DECT and SMS ). It also contains a comprehensive resident database. Control Centre is easy to set up, administrate and use.
SedCARE Phones
SedCARE Phones have been designed to enable a call for help to be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. SedCARE phones are easy to install, simple to use and meet all required Australian standards.
Using speech satellite, SedCARE phones also have the unique ability to extend speech to multiple rooms providing the peace of mind that comes with being able to make contact wherever it's needed.
The SedCARE phones can be installed in a suitable location and wireless Fixed Call Buttons installed to create additional contact points in other rooms if required. A SedCARE Pendant can also be worn around the neck or wrist to activate the necessary call and enable contact from anywhere in the home or facility.
A Range Extender can be purchased to extend contact to outside the home or facility and provide additional protection.
SedCARE Phones support multiple communication protocols.
Making the Call
Calls made from independent homes are directed to the nominated contacts or monitoring centre.
Calls made in Aged Care facilities can be fully integrated with a control centre and staff notified when assistance is required.
Choosing a SedCARE Phone
The SedCARE Phone is available in two versions - Standard and Deluxe.
The Standard Phone provides up to 10 additional interfaces. These can comprise of a maximum of 2 Pendants, 2 Fixed Call Buttons and other selected Options tailored to suit.
The Deluxe Phone provides up to 14 additional interfaces. These can comprise of a flexible configuration of Pendants, Fixed Call Points and Options depending on requirements.
Both Phones come with an easy to use button to activate the call as well as an inactivity timer that can be set to monitor activity levels over a nominated period.
The Deluxe model can also be connected to an external siren (a requirement for aged care facilities) to notify those nearby if assistance is required.

SedCARE Resident Protection Systems
SedCARE Resident Protection System, Xtag, provides protection and security for patients at risk.
Xtag can be used to provide a dependable safeguard for elderly people at risk of wandering.
Every 1.4 seconds, SEDCO Xtag signals the location of the wearer and alerts staff to any unauthorized movement or activity helping to keep residents inside safe areas.
SEDCO Xtag can be integrated into other SedCARE systems for reporting and notification if required.

Project Finance
SEDCO has taken the lead again and can provide our clients with project finance to help facilitate the purchase of our systems. No capital outlay is required and this facility is available for both large and small projects (subject to approval).

Resident Entertainment
SEDCO LCD HDTV makes affordable, high quality and future proof television units a reality.
Economical and robust, the SEDCO HDTV has been designed specifically for the hospital and aged care market.
SEDCO HDTV is Class B certified AS/NZS CISPR 12:2004 and works with all current MATV systems and is future proof and digital changeover ready.
The ultra long life 51cm (20") 60,000 hour screen is wall or ceiling mountable and audio is routed to the SEDCO entertainment handset or an external speaker.
